Brush Repair Gel

The brush repair gel is a product used to revive and restore the shape of paint brushes as well as make-up brushes. The brush repair gel is water soluble and non-staining because it contains a blend of conditioning agents and solvents that work together to reshape and recondition the bristles of your brush. It is usually applied by gently massaging the bristles with the gel, then rinsing and returning the brush to its original shape. Brush repair gel is used as part of the final stage in the production of brushes to give them their final shape, and is a very useful tool for maintaining the quality of the brushes as well as prolonging their life. This product is compatible with brush soap and should be used after removing all paint residues from the brush bristles. Recover the tip of your used brushes and make them as good as new.

How to use a brush repair gel

Here are the general steps on how to use it:

1. Wet the hair of the brush you want to repair with water.
2. Apply a small amount of repair gel to one of your fingers or a clean surface.
3. Gently massage the bristles into the gel, working the product through the bristles to the ferrule.
4. Use your fingers or a cloth to return the bristles to their original shape.
5. Allow the brush to air dry completely before using it again for about 10 minutes. Avoid leaving the tip of the brush resting directly against something, for example, placed upside down in a glass, as this can cause the bristles to lose their shape.
6. Before painting again, clean the tip a little with water to soften it.
7. Repeat the process after each painting session and your brushes will always look as good as new.
